Can you believe time has passed so quickly? Jaedan is seven! We sure suprised him this year! Keith came and got him and took him swimming while everyone gathered at the church social building. All his friends from school and his family were there waiting to yell Happy Birthday when he came in. He thought they were coming to help me and Grandma Beth, that we'd run out of gas. He was shocked, We pulled it off without a hitch! There were over thirty people there! He got 2 slip n slides, a skateboard, several cars,a ninja turtle toy, a remote control truck, lots of clothes, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember as well as ended up with $81 for his savings account for Christmas. He was very very happy.
Jaedan just let me know I shouldn't leave Jaela out of the blog. She likes to be the center of attention. So I guess I'll have to tell you what's been going on with the princess. That's what we call her. She loves pink and wears it everyday if possible. She is truely a girly girl. Her room is all pink and decorated with Dora th Explorer and we have all her clothes low enough that she can pick out what she wants to wear herself. She went to 3yr old kindergartenthis past year and learned all the alphabet by sight and sound. She is trying to read some this summer. We are also working on numbers up to 50. Both she and Jaedan amaze me how smart they are. Jaedan reads, does addition and subtraction of tens places, fractions, and can use money and give change. There are grown ups working at McDonalds that can't do that! We get to go visit Nikki on Sundays now from 2-5. She is doing really good. Keith is taking summer school courses and doing great. He just got back last week from Illinois where he tried out for a pro baseball team! We are so proud of him. He will graduate from Erskine in December and hopefully be a coach somewhere if he isn't playing pro ball.
